weird error message

I had been using the forum for a while when I suddenly got this message. I tried hitting back or retyping the url but it wouldn't let me back onto fishlore. I went on another site for a while and then came back here, and now it seems to be working again. I was just wondering what caused this....

"This Account Has Exceeded Its CPU Quota

Please contact this site's webmaster.

Wait a few minutes and use your browser's "Back" button or click here to try again.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you are the webmaster, your account may have gotten this error for one or more of the following reasons:
Your account has used more than its share of the cpu in the past 60 second sliding window.
Your account has too many concurrent processes running simultanously.
Your account has consumed too much memory.
Your site was recently very busy trying to run inefficient scripts.
The solution would be to optimize your applications to use less CPU.
Adding appropriate indeces to your SQL tables can often help reduce CPU.
Using static .html documents instead of painful .php scripts will practically eliminate CPU usage."

Re: weird error message

Every now & then the host server pops that up. Usually if you wait a few minutes and try back, it'll be gone.

Re: weird error message

Arrghh. We shouldn't be getting those. We pay for and moved to a less congested server to prevent those dreaded cpu exceeded messages. Sorry about that - I will be contacting our host.

Thanks for letting me know,
Mike

Re: weird error message

I was checkin the logs for today and noticed some strange error messages... and it seems that someone may be trying to hack into the site or bring it down. That could be why you got the message. Hmmm... Will be notifying our host.
