New Board in Livebearers?

Hi guys!

I was wondering if we can get a board for Endlers Livebearers and/or a profile. I recently became very interested in these little guys. I even ordered some from Dino I was hoping we might be able to open a new board for those of us who have or want to have these little fish. I know people in certain circles lump these guys in with guppies, but they aren't guppies and I think people assume they are and mix them and let them breed and are diluting the strain.

Anyway - its just a thought ....

That would be cool. I didn't realize what they were until Dino told me and i bet a lot of other members don't know their story either.

I think it's a good idea, but I also think it's a bit like the saltwater section. Perhaps not enough people will talk of endlers to justify a section, and then it's confusing. In the last 3 months or so, I only recall about 3 posts that refer to it, and not as the main subject. Should we wait to see if there is enough demand for it?

I have 6 females coming that I hope give me some fry. I read an article in AI and was very interested in them, but none of the local LFSs had them, so I ordered them from Dino... I cant wait till they get here.

Endlers are funny little idiot fish . We had a male that kept jumping out of the tank.... into the over-the-side filter and waiting for us to flick him back into the tank. He did this atleast 3 or 4 times that I got near the endler tank.

What, like a caresheet? That sounds reaslly good. Are you volunteering? Am trying to get them all to follow a template, but I haven't had a chance yet. (provided that you are volunteering of course! )

Armadillo.... On the home page, on the right hand side, there is a listed group called freshwater fish Species Profiles... I meant over there.

I think for that you need to ask Mike. I don't think the administrators have admin rights to the non-forum sections.
