emails

i was wondering - do you know how to prevent my email address from being viewed? i have it hidden on my profile and preferences, but if you go to one of my posts, there's the email icon, and that still gives out my email address. what should i do to prevent that from being shown? hopefully i'm not just being impatient! it was a good upgrade

Re: emails

I don't see any email icon as I'm looking at your post. I just see a 'view profile' icon and a 'Personal Message' icon, neither of which displays your email.

Looking at my own post, I see the email icon, but I do not see that icon for anyone else.

Mine's not hidden. The email I used for this forum is basically just my 'spam' email. I use it for specifically for signing up on forums and websites and such. I get a few personal messages and things I open, but it's mostly just about 200 spam messages and advertisements a day. My personal email is a carefully guarded secret, however. If I told you that one, I'd have to kill you.

I don't see an icon for your email either and in your profile, it just shows "hidden". It sounds like only you can see your email or your email icon.
