For those that of us that don't know, there is an option in your profile settings that will add a quick reply box to the bottom of a topic that allows you to quickly reply to that topic. If you want to utilize this feature, go into your profile (button on top of the forum) and select "Look and Layout Preferences". On the right side of your screen you'll see various options, one of them being "Use quick reply on topic display" and you'll want to select "show, on by default" to get the quick reply box to show up at the bottom of the topics.
It basically eliminates a step in the reply process but you do lose the smileys and other helpful icons if you want to use the quick reply feature. These icons will still be available but you'll have to hit the reply button like you normally would to use them.
Good to know, thanks for the new changes. Since I joined in December, so much has changed. I remember when... never mind I could have a huge list of changes.

UPDATE: I just installed a cool mod that includes the smileys and most of the regular reply features in the quick reply box.
If enabled (see how to enable this in the first post of this topic) you will see these features. Quick Reply puts a reply box at the bottom of the topic and makes it quicker to reply to topics.
