| All Angels are eating decently again. The addition of the fry seemed to interrupt the hunger stike of the one angel I was most worried about. It was the one that went most aggressivly after the fry.
Picked up some guppies from Petsmart to breed for the angels. 6 female and 4 male. 3 of the fems well on their way to giving birth. Had to put them into the 49 as I actually forgot to set up the 20gal for them. I had every intention of having it set up yesterday, but with the baby getting/being sick I forgot about it, and while in town my mind skipped over that and went straight to the need of picking up the guppies. Funny. Kind of. Its ok though as the 49 is a well established tank just not good for breeding guppies. Also functions well enough as their quarantine for now as there won't be any permanent fish in it for awhile.
The Ottos are doing well. Supplementing their diet currently with Romaine lettuce, as there isn't much in the way of green algae growing in the tank. Mostly brown diatoms. Which they've been eating.
Will be picking up some algae wafers tomorrow as I also forgot to pick up that and the frozen foods today. Actually I meant to get the wafers when I got the fish.
My mind appears to be on vacation.
All appears well enough though.
I'm just waiting for the hand of doom to kick in. Murphy's law. Bad luck. Errors in judgement to come back and haunt me. Something to go wrong. It always seems that when things start to come together is when problems develop. |
