Well, many obcenities are running through my head right now.
The girl e-mailed me & told me that her electric is being turned off tonight, if I don't come get them they're just going to die. So, what choice do I have? And I have to work ... UGH.

Is there a fish rescue group in your area who could take control of the situation?
I imagine if there was, they'd already have saved those poor fish.

I'm trying to find someone to go get them. My mom doesn't care enough to go get them. I'm trying to get my b/f to go pick them up when he gets off work, but he doesn't know anything about fish.
PLUS, they'll have eto go in a 29 gal. or a rubbermaid container until I can get the 90 up & running.

The guy said he has other priorities than to bring the tank to me, so I'm trying to get him to meet me somewhere & I'll find someone with a truck to get it to my place. These Oscars need a large tank, ASAP.

They are about 5 in. I think, from the pic she sent me. The tank is so cloudy you can barely see the fish. The guy with the 90 just faccebooked me & got pretty snotty saying that he told me he's too busy for that right now. So for lack of a better way to put it - I'm screwed.

He's giving me the 90 for free, he's a tank specialist actually. He upkeeps people's SW tanks for them.
The only thing is is that I have to pay $20 for these 2 Oscars & teh 10 gal. tank. Which is a little steep for something I may not even be able to keep myself. That's the one thing that's holding me back.

well 20 bucks would be money well spent i spend more then that on beer man atleast if they were in a tub they would have more room with fresh water

In my area it's hard to find a 10 gal for under $20. If you can save the oscars and get the tank for that then I'd say it's probable work it. I know oscars grow fast and if you can't keep them you can't, but at only 5" right now you could sneak them in almost any size tank until the 90 gal is up and running.

It'll be your call and you'll do what's right for you.

I just called her & talked her down to $10.
My b/f is beyond mad at me, along with my mom.
So basiclly, these fish are causing a lot of drama in my life. But at least they're not going to be flushed down a toilet.
