Well I haven't posted anything about whats happening to the tank so here goes. Well yesterday I was gave a Co2system for my tank so I'm going to use it along with ferts and higher lighting once i can aford it.

pics will be a while the drift wood is taking longer to soak than i thought it would . But on my crypt wentii's i haves new growth and i have some crypt spirilis have givin me more plants

well i move the rock on the right side of the cave to the 20 galllon for my otto(he ate all the algae on every thing even the fake plants)

Are you trying to get the 50 watts on your 20 gallon or your 5?

I went back tonight and looked at Bruce's pictures again and I enlarged them to full size by clicking on them. You have some beautiful pictures of him and he is such a pretty fish. You should be very proud of your pictures and the really cool fish he is. Bruce you are a handome fellow.

I have been tanking pictures for about 3 years now (all digital) so that may help some what. thanks for the complament

50w over a 5 gallon is tons and you'l probably have tons of algae growth. 10w would be sufficent and 20w would be max you should have. If you do get 20w depending on how it goes you very well might need co2 and ferts. Looks good.

I wouldn't add more cories until later because they really should only be added to mature tanks and they perfer groups of 5 or more. Are you planning on ferts soon.

I'm using tetra pride because around me flourish excel is to expensive for me.

I believe if you read the instructions you have to dose a lot at first then it's down to a little each week but I'v only seen it in small bottles.

The hagan System with a DIY mixture. Ferts aren't going to sechem for a bit B/c i forgot to get them

nutrafin is hagan and hagon is nutrafin(its the nutrafin system)

I am now useing tetra's ferts I like them better than the nutrafin ones
I now have 4 crypt spirils so i must be doing some thing right(2 baby plants)

changed ferts to seachem, swaped drift wood, removed some crypts
