First, the three cory's purchased from my LFS (one peppered, one albino, and one emerald green) all died within a day of their intorduction to the tank. (water is fine, my guess is just bad conditions at the store). Then, to make matters worse, my dojo loach Confucious started to act weird, losing his tail fin slowly and not eating, then the other day I found him belly up. He will be missed, as he was always the first to go crazy in the tank whenever I got home.

It sounds like one (or all) of those corys brought home a disease. we're sorry for your lost fish, especially Confucious.
