I lost one of my dwarf puffies today. I was cleaning tanks and I accidentally sucked up a puff, I thought it was a live puffer that got too curious, but I reversed the siphon and discovered that the poor thing was already dead. Mariah was my smallest female, such a cutie. It's hard to keep track of them since there's only 5 tiny puffs in the 20g and it's very heavily planted. I'm surprised I even found her at all. I'm glad I could give her a proper burial.

Awww Pink I'm so sorry. I think we have all had those kind of mishaps with the siphon. I accidently killed one of my goldies a while back because she got to close and a big hole got sucked out of her side. Mariah was lucky to have such a good home with you.

I am pretty sure she was dead long before I sucked her up. She was so teeny that it wouldn't have hurt her anyways.

I'm not sure... I noticed a couple days ago that she looked a bit skinny, but I thought she was just hungry. It's so hard to keep track of them
