My oldest betta, Valient, passed away last night. I can't imagine what was passing through his little mind, it broke my heart.

Ohh Amanda...
I am so sorry to hear that Valient is gone. I knew that he was not doing well, and as age progress's on our beloved Betta's there is not a thing we can do about it, but make sure that they are feeling safe and secure in the home they have always known with you.
He had a wonderful life with you and you did right by your lil boy... He lived for a long time with you.

Oh no! I'm so sorry Amanda Valient was a very special boy. I'm sure Winter is having a blast with him up in the great rice paddy in the sky.

Thanks guys, it's so weird not to see him swimming around in the 10 gal.
But I still have 10 other bettas to spoil, I just keep remembring that.
