Today when I went to get some more recent pics of my 80 gallon tank, I found my albino BN pleco girl dead at the bottom of the tank. I have kept her and a male together for the past year in hopes that they would breed. She wasn't acting sick at all last night and was eagerly eating her algae wafers when I checked on them. When I took her out of the tank I found a large lesion on her side. My only guess is that my common pleco became aggressive and territorial and attacked her. He is 12 inches and she is only about 3.5 inches

I researched before I added the common pleco and everything I found said that they were peaceful towards other plecos and bottom dwellers, but apparently mine has a bit of an attitude. I removed my male albino BN and added him into my 75 gallon with my regular female BN. I didn't want to risk leaving him in there with the other pleco. I feel really bad that this happened because I added a new fish to the tank. I am just really bummed because I lost so many fish in the move, its just hard to lose another one. Anyways, thanks for letting me vent.
PS: Cesch if you are reading this, when you get your longfin albino bn's to breed, I would love to adopt a pair from you.
