Disaster In My 10 Gallon :( (Don't worry, all of my bettas are doing great)

It's been quite a while (or at least it feels like it) since I've had anything like this happen. When I got back from spring break a few weeks ago, I braced myself for the worst, but hoped that everyone would be fine when I got back. Luckily I didn't have any deaths the day I got back, and all of my babies (including every betta ) were alive and well, so I did water changes and fed everyone and everything seemed to be fine. But just a couple days ago I lost all 3 of my guppies, my balloon mollie, and two of my corycats overnight The only survivor was the first corycat I ever had named Hermes, who is my little trooper and has survived through quite a few mistakes of mine. One of the guppies appeared to have some kind of mouth rot, but other than that everyone looked okay (aside from the fact that they were dead). No injuries, no ICH, no fin rot, nothing. All water parameters are still in check. Now it's pretty hard for me to look at my 10 gallon with just Hermes in there by himself

Awww Alex, I'm sorry That is so wierd that you would lose them all over night. Did the heater malfunction or something? What are your water parameters? That is awful that you lost them all

Thanks No the heater is still at a very steady 78, it's a cheap one from wal-mart but surprisingly it's very accurate. Parameters were 0ppm ammonia and nitrite and about 15 PPM nitrate when I returned from spring break so I was happy about that, and then nitrAtes were down to 10 when i tested again recently and ammonia and nitrite were still at zero. I was so surprised when I lost all of them, one of the guppies hadn't been looking as active as the others but I was keeping an eye on him. I wouldn't have been as surprised if it was just him that I lost but losing everyone was pretty shocking

Thanks

I'm honestly not sure, the only symptoms that they showed were the mouth rot, no other signs of columnaris but it could very well have been.

Waaaaahh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate to hear about dead things..... I would just go get hermes some buddies to make him feel better. I bet he's grieving for his friends too.
