I think that those poor fish who die slow painful deaths in store tanks deserved a memorial for them. Feel free to mention any fish you've seen and wish their souls well.
My dear green spotted puffers at walmart, I shed a tear for you everytime I go there. You are full of internal parasites and kept in freshwater, and are so sickly that taking you home would be pointless, as you'd die within days. My heart aches for you, little puffers.
Little cup bettas, too often have I gone into the petco to see that half of you are floating dead in your cups. And too many of you will soon be dead. Here's to you, little fellahs.
Little african dwarf frog, I saw you floating around in petco's tank, with only a skeleton remaining on half your body. It made me so sad to see that.
All of you dead fish I always see stuck to the filter intakes, I feel for you. Martyrs so that we can keep fish, and mistreated because the dealers can. Bless your souls.
I've shed a tear for you all.
Thank you for letting me get this off my chest a bit everyone.
