I woke up this morning to find my cory cat laying on her side. I quickly did a water test to discover that I am going through a mini cycle. ammonia 0, nitrite 10, nitrate 10.

I am quite upset since I had been planning on buying 2 more cory cats this upcoming week.

Needless to say I am not buying any fish until this mini cycle is over.

I don't think I am going to get any cories though, I was only getting them to keep Ethel company.

Any suggestions on what I should/can put in the 29 gallon instead?

Farewell Ethel. I found much enjoyment watching you for the year I had you. Always active and friendly. You will be missed.

I am very sorry for your loss, but on the bright side your aquarium is perfect for some angelfish, schooling tetras, guppies and many others. I do not think you will have much trouble finding fish for this aquarium.

Sorry you lost her... I have 6 albino cories and they are some of my fav fish... I just posted pic of them spawning for the 1st time... good luck with the new fish when you get them.
