| RIP Poor little Jimi
My dalmation molly died today. He had been listing for a few days, probably a swim bladder injury from the constant bullying of my other molly Janis. I found him this morning being devoured by one of my green spotted puffers. I quickly removed and buried him. Poor little Jimi was always picked on. Go play with Rodya in heaven's great waters. |

| would you recomend a puffer to me? I am about to cycle a ten gallon tank, how many and what kind can you put in their. I have always liked them but I never said anything. Any info is cool. To do with jimi, I had 2 dal mollies and a tiger barb in thatg tank and they got ICH. UGH!!!! They died the next morning what stinks was she was delivering her second batch of fry soon! Again sorry and any info is cool!!!!!!!!! | |

Again sorry and any info is cool!!!!!!!!! | Well, with a 10 gallon the only puffer you could get is a dwarf puffer. They need about 5 gals per puffer. The other kinds need at least 30 gallons. I hear that dwarves will go well with corys. But as with any puffer, you must be vary selective of their tankmates, or they could end up as lunch. Any other questions, feel free to ask me | |

| Thank you for the quick reply! Could I put two in there or just one. We origanally were going to make it a fry tank, should I keep it to that! Maybe when the fry grow I could put the one or your answer in their two. What kind of puffer do you have  | |

You would just need to heavily plant the tank so that they could get away from each other when they need to, as they are territorial. Mine are green spotted puffers, which are brackish, get up to 6", and need at least 30 gallons, so a 10 wouldn't work for them. Quote:

| well you are taking everything well, if my fish died i would be sad and then move on. I do not get as atttached to my fish like other people, unless there is only one like a puffer or something. I wanted to hide this letter so people couldn't see this, I feel ashamed!!!!! | |

It just depends on the fish and if you connect with them or not. | |

| Oh goodness no. I got them about 4 months ago. They are still a little under 2" each. When the get bigger I'm going to get them at least a 55 gal for themselves. | |
