hello fishy friends
just thought i would cheer everyone up with what happened to me my daughter yesterday.
We were doing a bit of tank watching (as you do) when i noticed the crab was dead in the corner of the tank.
as we only have the one crab its a feature of the tank and my little girl was very upset that her only had passed away.
so we had a full on toilet funeral in honor of our fresh water african red claw. There were floods of tears and lots of goodbyes as i flushed the chain

picked my daughter up from school today and returned to a bit of tank watching when something caught my eye underneath my boggwood cave, IT WAS THE CRAB!!!!
it must of shed its shell which as you guessed has now had a full funeral service, however we have noticed some slight changes to mr crab.
He has 2 legs on one side and only one pincer now, im thinking he may of had some trouble shedding his shell, so all is not lost at least his leggs and pincer are now in crab heaven
