My dear Rodya was the sweetest fish in the world. I had planned on euthanizing him today, because of his serious dropsy, but when I got home from work, he had already beat me to it. But he left behind a small bubble nest for me, just to tell me that everything was alright, he was happy now. My dad found a nice black box, which was for a laser pen, and we put him inside and buried him out front by the rose bush. I've got a flat rock that I am going to paint on as a headstone for him. He was the most beautiful fish I've ever seen, with the sweetest face. My only regret is that I couldn't have kept him longer, as I only had him just over a week. But I'm glad that he doesn't have to suffer anymore. I doubt I will ever find another fish like him. Until we meet again, my love. The night before he got sick, I painted a picture of him. It was done in like an hour and I ran out of white paint so his fins are much too dark, but it's the best I could do with what I had.

Rodya was so lucky to have you as a betta mommy for his short life. He passed knowing love and a warm tank.
