Poor Buster had a swollen belly & his ct fins were quite thin starting yesterday, started hiding from me today and died sometime while we were out this afternoon. My first chewer is gone. RIP little fish.
The tank of death strikes again.
*NOTE after every death remember to disinfect anything to do with the tank the fish died in* You are never 100% sure, especially with lfs betta what they may have.

It had better be. I am so sick of losing my fishies. Everyone else is doing well. *crosses fingers*

It makes a person feel a bit odd...especially when I know I didn't disinfect the tank properly before. I didn't do it immediately so I may have forgotten to use bleach. 5 fishies died b/c I wasn't careful. Never again.
I am doing Buster's 5g tonight...that is going to be the hospital tank from now on. It's old and the glass is hard to get pix thru so I may as well use it for that.

Do not blame yourself...you of all betta moms, love you boys/girls so very much and you do the very best you can....dont give up on it, because imagine all the betta's you have had still being in cups...be strong!

Oh I am not giving up...I am getting some of Heather's female dragons and her gold CT soon...plus she is getting a shipment from the lady in Ontario who is selling all her fish for $5 donation to Betta Breeder Canada. Her fish are part wild betta and part halfmoon betta splendens. I figured they might be something different to add to my collection with out wasting money at a lfs to have em die too soon.
I'll never give up on fish especially betta. Discouraged yes.
