Bye Bye to my favorite fishie :(
I noticed that a week ago, my male cockatoo cichlid had fungus on his head. I medicated the tank and when I did my water change yesterday I found him dead. I was so bummed because he was by far my favorite fish (they are so unique looking). He was a triple red and had beautiful fins. His girlfriend is lonely now so I am trying to find her another male. The problem is that the only place I can find them is on aquabid, and $30 is a lot to pay for shipping on one fish. Hopefully I can come across one locally. I feel so bad that he didn't make it. Then again, I did everything I could by medicating the tank and doing water changes.
