Red wag platy

So my black molly that i had been treating for popeye died today. Why did it die? I did water changes and treated with triple sulfa. It's eye wasn't to bad. I noticed that the region around it's gills looked silverly. I noticed that today it had trouble swimming. It looked like it was swirling around. Could it have been something else? Also, should I do a water change and keep treating the tank with triple sulfa?

I'm sorry to hear that you lost her. It could have been popeye and another infection. We had to treat one of our Bettas last month for popeye and columnaris. Your molly may have developed a swim bladder infection. I would finish the triple sulfa course that you're on now and do a 50% water change after it's done.
