One of our 2 remaining Platys from our 1st tank died this week. Little Minnie died of old age I believe. Her buddy Belle is doing good and hopefully will live on a while.

Awwww.......I am so sorry about Minnie and your two platies. I know you must be especially heartbroken about Minnie. I am glad to hear that Belle is doing well. At least Minnie had a great life and was well taken care of by you guys. Hugs!

Little Minnie was always hanging out with Belle, who liked to chase her.. go figure.. but that was how they were. LOL. We got Minnie the 1st week in January of last year. She survived us learning, algae remover liquid, a road trip from Florida to Colorado and was a happy, chubby girl that never really was sick. Given her size when we got her, I think she was 4-6 months old when we got her.. so she was nearing 2 years old.

Sorry for your loss, its never easy losing one, but if we must, then let it be from old age.

It sounds like Minnie had a wonderful life.. and was with her loved ones and her buddy Belle at the end.. She couldnt have asked for a better family!

Dave & Stacy..I am so sorry to hear that you lost Minnnie. Having a special fish that goes through the wars with you makes her extra special. She had a great life , lived to the fullest, with you guys. RIP Minnie.

Even though we knew she was old, we were hoping she'd be a lucky Platy and make it to 3. She even ate well earlier in the day (as always) .

Thats to bad. Your fish is with good fish though i had a few buddies go to fish heaven and they where good fish. Do SW fish and FW fish go to the same great tank in the sky?
