This morning I found the oldest fish in my tank (3), a cory that I referred to as 'Old Man', dead. I wasn't surprised. His color was getting lighter, and he wasn't in a big hurry at feeding time like he usually was(funny for a cory right!,,being in a hurry for flakes?!). It just blows after loosing so many fish (in the ommunity tank) over the last couple of months. You put so much into them,,, trying to do everything right, and then...

IMO he was a very personal cory,,, the others I have/had were never as out going as he was.

sorry to hear about your lil cory.. they are so cute and lovable.
Does it help to know that we all loose fish in our community tanks? It happens way to often IMO. I know it does in mine. Especially when it comes down to unexpected deaths when one minute they are fine.. the next gone. Its that kind of surprise I dont want to look forward to.

so sorry about your corey...It is hard to work so much and loose them..but just remember the life he did have with you..a happy one im sure!

Sorry about your cory. I have a fish that is dying right now and it is so sad to see that happening. I couldn't imagine how I would feel about a fish that I had for 3 yrs dying. I am so sorry for your loss and hopefully you will find another little cory that you will be just as attached to.
