I lost my Cory cat, Kitty today. I've had her for about 4 years and she's been through a lot with me. She was one of my first fish (Talk about inexperience. I don't even want to think about the awful stuff she went through with her water when I first started...) She'd recently had her tail nipped off by some fish that I took back to the store (danios can get aggressive!) but I'd treated it and she seemed to be doing better until a couple of days ago when she got swim bladder disease. She was a fighter, though! Lasted a good long while with me, even at the end.

Ugh, I'm sad.

I just hope she's not suffering anymore.

4 yrs. is a long time for a fish to a beginner until now, she taught you much and I'm sure you loved her. Sorry for your loss.

I am sure Kitty had a good life with you. Corys are loveable, they do have personalities. I hope you get to feeling better soon...

She lived a long life for a Cory and it sounds like you did take very good care of her. She was a good pet and we can understand why you'd be sad to lose such a great little Cory.
