This is a sad day. I suffered the loss of my Platydoras catfish. We only had him about a week and a day. I rarely got to see him, as he was good at hiding. I was delighted when I did get to see him, though.

Yesterday, he was out in the open, lying on his side. I quick grabbed my air pump, hooked it up, starting pumping air into the tank, yelling, "Breathe, breathe." To no avail. He succumbed.

I feel okay- that at least I was there for him and I did what I could.
