He died today.

I forgot to put the tube on my filter and well you can guess what happened.

Please do not feel bad. You did not do it on purpose and we all make mistakes. It will be okay, and I am sure that you gave the little guy a good home while you had him. They have a tendency to get up inside of any little nook or cranny they can find. It is their nature. I found a little guy of mine one time that had gotten up in a hollowed out part of a piece of decoration and when I removed it from the tank I did not check it close enough and when I put it in the bleach water to clean it, I killed him. So you see others make mistakes too. You have to just forgive yourself and move on.

That really stinks, we're sorry you lost him but I think we've all made mistakes. It was an unfortunate accident, but you do your best for your fish and that's all any of us can do. I'm sure that'll never happen again.
