my first fish that ive ever owned past away today. he was extremely sick and i did ever thing i could.. even sought out help and even that advice couldnt save him. hes in a better place now im sure but it doesnt ease the pain any to know that. i know that to some people a fish will always be just a fish but Boy Fish the steel blue betta will never be just a fish in my heart. he was my friend, my companion, my muse, my pet, and the reason why i got into the hobby at all.

i went to the store.. stopped to look at the fishies real quick and when Boy Fish and i met eye to eye i was in love.. he will forever be in my heart.. and be a legend in the fish community..

he loved his pellets so much he'd jump into your hand for just a nibble..

I am sorry you lost your boy! Everyone on here knows a fish is never just a fish, particularly when the fish in question is a betta. In a little while, maybe you will be able to open your heart to another betta.
