Just a couple of hours ago, I lost my Blue Demon damsel fish from my SW tank. I admit that the tank wasn't proper, I am amazed that the fish lasted this long. You will be missed. I plan on getting proper substrate in the tank on Sunday. I checked the water and everything is fine, the pH is 8.0-8.5, there is no ammonia, nitrites and less then 5 nitrates, so I don't know what the problem is. I also did a water change just a couple of days ago.

Andy, I checked the S.G. of the tank and the hydrometer shows it being 1.030. is that good for damsels? No matter how much I read info on it, I just don't seem to understand it.
