Fallen Angel

Well, I lost my black marble angel last night. He was so gorgeous.

We had originally bought him all tattered, we nursed him back to health and he did well in our 45g community, but he got what we thought was fin rot, so we nursed him back to health again, and realized that it wasnt fin rot at all but a rift with one of my Koi Angels when again he gotten beaten up, so we nursed him again, and then we introduced him to our 65g where he lived happily and unbothered for about a month... back to normal, fins in full display and yesterday out of nowhere, he just was floating around, spiraling, bobbing... I cant believe it... I guess life was too rough and he just came to the end of his rope... at least the last few weeks were pleasant... still, it kinda sucks cuz he was kinda like my baby because we put so much effort into getting and keeping him well..

URG!

Wow, what a journey! I am so sorry for your loss. The part that hurts is that you know he had a fighting spirit, and then loosing him without knowing why......RIP

O sorry, is always sad but when you know that the fish fought for life too it's worse. HOWEVER to know that this boy had your love etc plus extra time here is great. Is always fantastic to hear about truly loved fish!! All our fish need it!

If would have been alot easier If I saw him actually suffering from something, but he looked so great ... and its so terrible to watch 'em just spinning in the filter current...

Sorry about your loss. Nothing worse than losing a fish you tried hard to make well to begin with
