PICS - What type of rainbow is this?

Hi, could someone help me out here? I was under the impression that this fish was a bosemani rainbow, but people have told me on another forum that it is not. They say it is a praecox. It's not very big so I assume it is a juvenile. The pics kind of make the yellow look reddish, but it's not, it's very yellow.

Is it a bosemani? If not what type is it?

Thanks!!!

Thanks a lot!!!

So with dwarf rainbows, the females are yellow and blue and the males are red and blue?

so If I have 2 females now, I could add 1 male without an aggression problem, right?

Thanks again!

Yes, females are yellow and blue and the males are red and blue. What size tank are they in?

It's a 70 gallon tank.

Right now it has:

1 red-tailed shark
5 neon tetras
5 bloodfin tetras
2 gold dojos
1 pleco

In a 70 gallon tank, you should be fine adding a male praecox Good luck and please keep us posted.

how big is your shark? I have a rainbow shark and it's still 2-2.5" so it's not aggressive with my tetras yet. Does your rts show any aggression towards the tetras? let me know how it does with the rainbows; I'm setting up a 75 gallon with rainbows, most likely.
