awesome fish !! My husband and I are "in" to oddball fish !! He is really cool !! Ok now I've gotta start looking for another tank !!!

All salamanders and newts go thru a stage where they have the feather gills. Yours are a species that never leave the water. Others eventually grow up and head for the marshes and breed in water only, same life cycles as frogs....there are a couple of exceptions.
