Um kinda, but the colors arent NEAR as bright and i don't see any pink on mine, the scales do give off colors though, idk it may be because mine are young, but the body shape of the fish looks very similar.

try the picture section at the top of the page or try a google search for ram cichlid, german blue ram, bolivian ram and see if any photos come up that match your fish
or try this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ram_cichlid

hope it helps

mine are not very big, maybe 2-3 inches, but they're young i think, and they were only a couple bucks each

i think the prices between our countries are always going to be very different. im sure an expert or moderator will be along soon to help you confirm the type of fish.

good luck

Although somewhat blur. DOESNT look like either Rams. Try googling for Aequidens Sp (maybe more new genera from Aequidens now) such as blue Acara, A. rivulatus? (green terror), etc. There are many that may look similar when young thus may need to wait a bit to verify/confirm. Doesnt seem to be JD either.
If were either Rams, not a good choice to keep w/ Convict (aggressive/tough cookie for its size).

I believe it is a blue acara juvenile male. Look for pics in Google image and compare. They grow up to 8 inches, beautiful fish. It can and will defend from Convicts given your tank has room for both.

If it the fish behind the one in front it looks like my mum's "Green Terrors". Not a friendly fish; they'll eat anything that fits in its mouth; beautiful though. Does it look like this?

As for the fish being a Blue Acara, the credit goes to cerianthus since he mentioned it first,
