IMO those are not silver dollars, they are red bellied Pacu's. The body shape is not quite right for the S.Dollar fish.
I hope you have a larger tank for these guys and make sure you dont keep any small fish in there with them or you will lose them.
It amazes me all the time to hear of folks just bringing fish to people without any idea of what they are and if they are compatible with the fish or tank already there or even if the tank owner wants the fish or not?! ... jessh!
I would bring those back to the store, unless you want a large species only tank with just those two fish in it.
My brother had Red Bellied Pacu's in his 125g years ago. They grew to 26" and could not turn around in the tank comfortably. I'm sure they have room now in the waterway. LOL oops.
I think red bellied pacus too. I love these fish and had one years ago in a 35 gal hex. He lived about 3 years and was about 6 in. When I set up my 55 gal, I really wanted another one but thanks to all the reading on fishlore, decided this was not a good idea. I have noticed my local Petsmart selling these. I'm sure they are selling them without telling customers how big they get or how much room they need. All that being said, there is something about the look and personality that I just love about these guys!
I dont think either are RB Pacu which should have darker body even at that size (unless video does not show dark body colors)..
Since there are numerous cousins of silver $, you may have rare kind of species (Maybe wild specimen). Both may be same (?), younger one with spots, spots may disappear as matures.
You may want to compare pics from Books (TFH Atlas, Baesch aquarium book Vol 1, 2 3, 4, etc).
Anyway, both are Gorgeous. Treasure them!
the big one doesn't even have a hint of a red belly though, the little one does in the video, but when I look at that one irl I can't see it, so I wonder how the camera managed to capture that.
Gray with metallic shine due to photo (flash). Handled enough RB/Black Pacu which always have darker color (but not silver) with metaliic shine (scales). You could find the pics but go try finding/see juvie Siver RB/Black Pacu (as silver as silver Dollars)!
they don't have that massive fin under there bellies, thanks for the picture that was awesome.
BAD NEWS: they didn't eat there cucumber.
Try soaking Romaine (looks more like natural leave than cucumber/zuchinni) in cold water then stick it in the gravel and see if they nibble on it.
Even wild Silver $/cousins had no problem taking Veggie flakes or other foods readily, especially when other fish go eating frenzy. Monkey See, Monkey Do!.
For five to ten minute or you could just rince it well. It will deteriorate fast so dont leave it in the tank for more than one day. It may leave bits of leaves floating on top and such can be easily removed with net before decays.
I love the one that with white tip/edges, and with sort of lyretail formation. I have collected numerous odd Silver $ in my time but never like that one. Take good care of it.
I've seen/had ones with spots though. Unfortunately many different species show such marking as juvie.
I never had one silver $ that did accept Vegiie flakes or any other food given, even Wild Specimen..
Treasure and Enjoy.
ive asked a friend whose a monster fish keeper and shes sure the bigger one is a pacu and the smaller is a spotted silver dollar....but as everyone has an opinion, time will deffinately tell ....goodluck with them!

interesting, judging by pictures I have seen I would say the opposite, the coloration of the anal fin on the large one is exactly like the coloration in other videos I have seen of them.
And the smaller one actually does have a tiny bit of red tinted belly, which leads me to believe, RB Pacu.
but who knows, they are both great, and they both hang out a LOT with each other.
Check out:
Myleus rubripinnis Red Hook Pacu. Silver toned body... red hooked anal fin.
Metynnis argenteus: Silver Dollar aka silver Pacu, not to be confused with the Silver Mylossoma (hard bellied silver dollar) The silver dollar we are all familiar with.
On another note tho, after watching the video again, I have to say that the tail fin of the larger fish does not appear, IMO to have the same shape as the other Pacu's I have seen. I was just checking them out at a LFS yesterday to get a good look at them. At the LFS the Silver(yes.. they were not grey) Pacu's had a white and dark vertical color in their tail fins.
There are so many sub species of this variety of fish that it can really be confusing to know exactly which fish you have.
I think tho we are all in agreement that your tank is way too small for those two fish and IMO I would be returning them asap to the LFS.
