im making a guess at the blue on the left as a red top hongi and the pinkish/orange one on the right some type of peacock? angela & navyscuba are pro's hopefully they have an opinion...not sure what the darker one in the front on the left is tho

some do both...do you have another tank ready and big enough? ive read that moving them sometimes is too stressful and they end up spitting early and eating them ..but then ive read others putting them into holding tanks waiting for them to spit then remove mom...im new to africans so im not sure the best method

mine spawn once a month. you should have about 3f to 1m. I got about 30 wigglers now from 1 spawn the male can get really aggressive when a female is ready to spawn.

red zebra can be pretty aggressive and the dark one and blue one if they are the ice blue (greshakei) can be really aggressive especially when spawning it is best to have 1m to 3f to help curb the aggression do you have anything else in the tank with them it also helps to slightly overstock a tank with these fish. my male greshakei is the dominant fish in my tank and has caused some problems anytime the population of the tank gets low when there is enough fish in the tank he is alright

with these fish it is normally recommended to overstock i"m not really sure how many to keep in a 70 gal but would go with what it takes to keep the aggression to a safe level
do you have any plans on what else you may want to add

thats pretty much it and then only other mbuna types from lake malawi very little else can safely be added I found this out the hard way. you have to be careful what you add even if you add other mbuna species not all will get along

The blue one is a red top zebra (met species) and the orange color one is a met red zebra, most likely female?
