neon blue or just a Dwarf Gourami??

I am having a little trouble figuring out if my Dwarf gourami is a neon blue or cobalt blue or just regular dwarf gourami. I think hes a neon blue, but i need a second opinion or two.Oh ya, boy can these little guys eat I dont have to worry about wasting food with this one.lol



Is neon blue & cobalt blue the same meaning

I've got a 'regular' dwarf gourami, and his stripes/spots are the same pattern and colour like yours (pics in the link in my sig if you'd like to compare), but his base colour is a pearly tan, and sometimes it'll turn deep violet blue (like when he gets bloodworms), but he's never been bright, bright blue like your little guy. Gorgeous fish!

could yours be a fem same specie? fems are less bright and colorful

pointed dorsal fin and had a great bubble nest going once

well ppl said female bettas couldnt make bubble nests a year or so ago..and we so know thats not correct.... ive never read or heard about any dorsal fin differences tho..just less colorful are the fems is what ive read and heard.....

I got my DG at LFS for 6.99, petsmart had them for 4.99 but they didnt look as beefy & colorful as LFS, none had females well they are pretty much had to find.
