ty everyone!!
never kept tetras and had to be sure...seems they are an ok community fish? I have them with guppies and platies...ok for now?

all four are the same size...about 1 1/2 to 2 inches....when i got them yesterday, they were pure white and had not a clue what they were...I left them be overnight (my other gups and plats were not happy) with the lights off and no feeding..then today they looked like this LOL

They are more nippers with each other, then other fish once they establish their territories which they guard like crazy. But they can be testy, nasty little fish. I had them before but I am obsessed with having a peaceful tank set up. I was glad to see them go.

lol, well if you can hang onto them until i get my 29 set up (probably this summer) then maybe they can come over here for a permanent vacation

I have heard of black skirts being nasty, but I never ever had any problems with mine. I guess it just depends on the fish.......

I have had five in a 55g for about a year and they do just fine. This is the catch all tank(If it needs to come out of a tank there's always room in the catch all 55g
There are 3 angels, 2 kerri danios, two serpae tetras,3 fishing minnows(well they were pretty ) 1 tiger barb(he was being a brat at work). The Black Skirts (black Widow) are huge now and very active but not a problem.
