Hi Welcome to Fish Lore
Sorry, I'm no help ID'ing fish. It might help the members if you told them a little about your fish.
The shop didn't have an ID card or tell you what they were?

They don't look like goldies or koi.

I "borrowed" one of the pics and rotated it to see if it would be easier to identify these fish. It looks like they have white heads, greenish bodies, and black on the fins and tail.

I'm with Shawnie, first thing I thought of was some sort of Platy.

at first i thought a kind of platy... but they really look like green tiger barbs too... either way i think the fish looks very stressed... it looks like the color could be alot more vibrant in ideal conditions

The black and red on the fins, as well as the head and body morphology, makes me think of Tinfoil barbs that for whatever reason lost the tinfoil part.
My wild guess is that this might be a hybrid of a Green Tiger and Tinfoil Barb if that were possible.

tetras are normally good with each other if given the right amount of space. other fish like tiger barbs are chasers and fin nippers
