too deep to be a platy unless they were seriously over fed or something, there is a picture of my balloon mollie if you click on the link in my signature of my tanks and fish, you'll have to scroll down a bit

They look a lot like balloon mollies to me, my aunt used to keep them in an amazing assortment of colors.

I dont know... but they look like a sunset balloon and a red wag balloon platy. I've never seen a mollie with the coloration of a red wag platy.

They -kind- of look like mollies.. I've found that Platy's are more.. arrow shaped? in the face..? Whereas Mollie's have more of a flatter face :3 I have an orange platy in the same tank as the mollies. They just look fat and happy ^_^

I have three balloon mollies in one tank, and three batches of fry in another. I'm trying to get rid of the babies (sell, give away) as soon as possible, but I'm not having any luck on getting them good homes ): There has to be at least a hundred in there..

Balloon Molly, head structure resembles a Platy, however it'd sure be over fed if it was that size!
