id this pleco please

got 4 of these in two tanks [the wife loves her plecos]

May I ask what size tank you have these big guys in? They can each reach 18+ inches and really need at least a 75 gal. for one.

thanx for the id guys at the mo they are in a 30 and 47 gal but when they get about 6inches they will be rehomed thanx for the concern amanda

If you'd like a pleco that would stay inder 6 in., you should look into bristlenoses or clowns. That way you wouldn't have to re-home them later on.

I LOVE the plecs also..they are just so different you gotta love them...have her check out the bristlenose plecs..if she likes the commons, she will love them goodluck!
