2 Cichlids needing id.... Thanks ahead of time..

about cheif : He/she turns blueish when stressed or aggressive btw

thats an insane amount of fish for that size of tank and looks simialar to a jack demspey maybe a texas cichild the store here had something that looked like that called a texas cichilid

They are Lake Malawi cichlids...over stocking is a must with them to keep aggression down or spread out.

The top one looks like it could be a female Rusty.
I wonder if chief is PS. Saulosi...they go thru amazing color changes.

Yea, agreeing w/ Allie the way you stock your african malawi tanks is to overstock your cichlids, you use heavy filitration and water changes....
The aggression is way down in my tank, right now I am having a couple scuffles only because the kenyi are in breeding mode....
