Well not all dalmations have pointed edges...lyre tails...the tips on the ends of their tails.
Only a select number have the tips on them. Although I believe that the round tail is a recessive gene, it might not have it yet, some get their tips later than others.
hi swords.. that may be true, but the photo that gnome posted IMO is not a dalmation molly. Ive had them as well, and they did not look like that. ~ kate
Ya I'm not sure what it is, but I was just telling them that not all mollies develop the lyre tails at a young age if at all.
I'm lost as to what this is. I don't think it would be a pure strained livebearer, because I've had experience with many different kinds and haven't seen anything like this.
I was trying to make a pics, but fish is too fast. He doesn't waste any time, eats-eats and eats. Picking from the plants.
I'm sure it is a livebearer and not full grown yet.
Looks like cross between guppy and platy with grey-blue color.
Will wait until it's full grown then probably find out what is that.
