???

I couldn't get a still picture of this fish as it keeps on moving very fast. It is about 1" long. Any idea what fish it is
ok, after doing lots of research, i finally got this info and pics, but me still not so satisfied It is so "called" Barilius bendelisis and some are found to call it "Apollo Shark"

To me it looks like a giant danio, but that is because the pic is somewhat blurry now.

maybe I have rainbow fish on the brain lately, but it does look like a species of rainbow is my guess?

I think the body is too elongated.

hmmmmm.... Tom you may be right. After looking at the photos again, I think even my female has a larger more rounder belly area.

The vertical height (slim) as well as the markings don't look like that of a giant danio to me. Tough to tell though. My first guess would have been that it was some type of rainbow as well.

Coloration is wrong for common giant danio.

What ever it is, it is probably in the order Cypriniformes, which covers the barbs, danios and minnows.
