Green potter fish?

I saw an adorable fish in the pet section at WalMart. I don't plan to buy my fish at WalMart, but I saw an adorable little group of fish that I would love to put in my aquarium. No one working in the pet section was around to help, so I figured you all might know.

It's hard to describe what the fish looked like, but I'll try. They were round and "fat", almost like little circles. They had a dark pattern on their light colored bodies - I called it a leopard pattern. The tank that was holding these fish was the only one not labeled. The only label nearby read "Green Potter". I tried Google and got no answers!

Thanks in advance!

the green potter fish is a rare fish that likes to live in green pots, they eat cheerios and fruit loops.

lol.. just a slight mistake there on their part. welcome to FishLore!

lol.. how can you resist a sign like that? wow.. it's like the pic of a cake i got that someone ordered at walmart (attached). The person ordering the cake asked for "'Best Wishes Suzanne' and underneath that 'We will miss you'" Maybe it was the same employee that labelled the 'potters'?

Marlana - are you wanting to put the dwarf puffers in their own tank? They can get a little aggressive and they produce a lot of waste so they need about 3g per puffer and can be poor tankmates for a lot of fish - but they are cute little fish with a lot of personality. They love to eat snails.
http://www.dwarfpuffers.com/ - this would be a good site to check for more detailed information on them so that you could provide them with a home they'd be happy in.

Or both, but that is commercial industry for you. We got a cake once for my mom but it came in saying "sorry for your loss, we will miss her", that was a rude awakening for a 50th birthday

Anyway, I love dwarf puffers, they are adorable and excellent on keeping the tank clear of snails, but if you do get them, they need a species only tank because they tend to nip.
