It could be from the family of Cynotilapia, Frontoza. Some of them are gray w/stripes not just blue w/stripes. The shape of the head leads me to suspect this.

That looks like a male Jade eye/albino-pink convict hybrid. They are from the same genus...Archocentrus. We had a friend who had his albino con and jade eye breed. The babies look like your fish. We called them Pink Eyes.

It could be several different fish from the convict complex, such as cutteri, hondorin red point.

Can you get a pic without the flash?

I have convicts, and they do look similar to that when I stress them by using the flash. LOL Yes, mine are camera shy, for some reason.

Any time. I was trying to take pictures of my baby convicts. The flash went off....they changed color faster than anything I've ever seen before. LOL

Just be careful if you have a male and female. I bought 4, 2 males and females. Well, the bigger ones spawned and killed the little ones. So, now I'm down to 1 of each sex and a bunch of babies. But, at least...I still have the babies. And Momma and Daddy are very fun to watch.
