what type of plecostomus???
High the shot is kinda blurry but its a plecostomus and its Striped Tan and black. and has Fork style tail its about 5-6'.

I am hoping you mean 5-6 inches and not 5-6 feet? I have no idea what type of pleco it is. Have you tried planetcatfish.com?

im not a pleco expert...but i saw some little pitbull plecos a while back, and thats about the same markings...do a google search on pitbulls and see if thats what it is

The markings are right for all of those but it looks to long and slender.

that pic is really big, so its hard to tell, but the pitbulls i saw were slender, compared to other plecos |

yep the ones I saw today were also but theres just something about the proportion of the tail to the rest of the body thats nagging at me

No I'm really not I have seen that shape somewhere and I can't remember where and it's driving me nuts! I went fishie shopping today and looked at all the plecs I could find and nothing rang a bell.
I did get 9 otos for $2.99 each and 8 striped kuhlis for $1.99 each it was a steal in any case.  they are in quarantine as I type
