Good day all...
I was doing my normal routine this morning with feeding my fish (2 blue damsels, black/gray angel, lawnmower blenny, diamond goby, 2 clown fish with are currently in a separate hospital tank), and I noticed a large mysterious worm in the back corner of the tank. My apologies for not having a photo, but I was running late, therefore I scooped it up and removed it from the tank. The worm in question was about 6 inches long, grayish/tan in color, smooth body, and about 1/2 inch in diameter. Was this a bad worm? As I am still a novice with
saltwater fish, any help would be greatly appreciated.
My tank is a 46 gallon bowfront
live sand
24 lbs of
live rock (I treated the live rock with an immersion in a high saltwater bath for three minutes before I originally put it in the tank, thus removing any critters that might have come in with the rock)
Thanks in advance.
