Well I'm sure most of you remember our excitement at the spawning of our first batch of mahachai bettas. Its been like 3 months since then, I think? They are FINALLY starting to grow expanentially faster. After they got the size of week old guppy fry they began growing like they hit the puberty of a lifetime.
There are atleast 7-10 that has made it this far. (Not that impressive of a number, but our first time spawning them and had some survive, I think that is a nice accomplishment.) They are probably nearing, if not already at, 1/2 inch in length, and showing horizontal black stripes on a gray body. Quite interesting to watch them eat week-old brine shrimp, they act like they are hunting them down and "pounce" on them.
Anyway, we will get pictures posted as soon as the camera's battery charger gets back to us.
