I don't recommend feeding freeze-dried bloodworms because they can swell and cause constipation and in your fish. As for variety, I feed all my meat-eating fish frozen bloodworms almost every day. I also feed crisps, fresh cucumber and zucchini slices, and frozen tubifex worms.

Fish are like people in that way - variety is good. I'd say if you're gonna use them, pre-soak them in garlic juice and use it more for treats.

Hello Ev. I agree with Ilovee. Presoak them and use them for treats All of your fish will probably love them.

soaking them in fresh garlic juice allows them to swell prior to feeding..then you wont have as much of an issue with bloat but remember a fishies belly is as big as one of their eyes

You could also get a tiny bit of tank water and just let them expand in that. I feed my panchax dried bloodworms fairly frequently because he is a carnivore. He also eats flake though.
