Vacation Food for Top Dwellers

I'm going on vacation for about 6 or so days, and I just realized today that I have no idea what to feed my hatchetfish while I'm gone! I could put a feeding block in for my other fish, but I don't know what to do about the others... Any suggestions? Oh, and what can I do for the otos, too?

you can buy automatic drop feeder filled with flakes. It has a timer which feeds your fish at certain times. Not sure about the oto's but they might eat off the block as well.

how long are you going to be gone? fish can go quite a few days without food(7 -10 days max is what id go) and you can give a good water change and feeding before you leave, and good water change/feeding when you get back.....and if you go automatic feeders, spend the extra money to get a really good one as they can overfeed and cause major havoc on tanks...

I'm going to be gone for about a week. They're really skittish when the other fish come to the top, so I don't see them eat much... Would they be ok without food for that long?

a week meaning weekends as well = 7 days or a business week = 5 days? 7 days might be pushing it.

I got a DIY project! You can tie the food block with a rope and hang it on the top part of the water and a food block on the bottom part of the water.

7 days will be fine with a good feeding/water change the day you leave

Alrighty! Thanks for the help!!

Update: I'm back now, and all the fish are alive! They were as active as if they had eaten something for the past week, and they ate when I gave them some food.
