freeze dried food

Hi guys!

Tank 1:
I have Oscars, Tinfoil barbs, bala shark and blood parrots...

My feeding routine:
Chiclid pellets (every day)
Freeze dried shrimps (A couple everyday)
Peas (Once a week)
Blood worms (Once a week)

Any changes or additions required

Coming to the real question in mind....do i need to presoak the freeze dried shrimps before feeding them to my fish
IF YES for how long?

Hi saqib...every person is different and ill give you my take....im not a fan of freeze dried foods as ive just had too many constipation issues with the fish when I feed them anything freeze dried...although I do love the freeze dried krill, I do soak it in fresh garlic juice before I feed it...not had the tinfoil barbs before but have all the rest....I feed them the following at every feeding.....fresh garlic , hikari cichlid pellets, fresh raw shrimp, frozen or fresh beefheart, frozen blood worms, spinach, spirulina, zucchini, omega one or kens premium flake foods, carrots, and a multi vitamin...I run it all through a blender then add 3tbs of plain gelatin to the entire mush (thats what it looks like after the blender LOL) and freeze it in small ice cube trays...oscars, bala, and parrots need meat...but they also need the veggies....if you make your own, its so so much cheaper and you know what they are getting is good foods ...
