Freeze Dried Bloodworms wont sink?

Well I bought Tetra Freeze Dried Bloodworms for my 2 African Dwarf Frogs and I have been having a few problems with them. They won't sink no matter what method I try. I have stirred them in water but they still float. Then on one of the treads I saw that someone put them in a baby food jar and their frogs ate them out of there. I tried it with a different container but it didn't work. Then I squeezed the air out of them to get them to sink. They sank to about halfway in the tank. Finally I sprayed them with water and froze them. I will try this method tonight to see if it works. Meanwhile, does anyone have a different method to get the freeze dried bloodworms to sink? Please help Ife and Femi are depending on it !

I'm not sure. I'd suggest purchasing frozen bloodworms instead of freeze dried.

soak a few of them in fresh garlic juice...that will help..but freeze dried foods are meant to float as they are very similar to flakes but more dried out

i agree with harpua. frozen are the way to go. as for the freeze dried, freezing them my work. only make sure you thaw them in a cup of tank water first. just wondering but where did you get your aftican dwarf frogs? just curious because alot of places sell african clawed frog under that name. thats what happened to me lol. i bought 2 under the impresion that they would stay under and 1 1/2 inches and then they started to grow lol! turns out i had two clawed frog that get MUCH bigger. lol good luck with the worms!!!
